Nicole writes, “I have been farming for 9 years and I run an urban medicinal herb and veggie farm, along with a CSA program, in the city of Nashville. We are a certified naturally grown farm in the heart of the city producing veggies, eggs, culinary and medicinal herbs. I grew up growing alongside my great grandmother and I feel so fortunate to be growing on the same land today. We love growing in the city because we enjoy teaching the community that you can grow healthy food and make a positive environmental impact just about anywhere. Up until very recently, my husband and I were also end of life caregivers for my father. Caregiving and farming are both incredibly physical jobs. Thankfully, the incredible work of @realfarmercare and @farmerclara are allowing us to be able to take a bit of time out of our busy lives to take care of our own bodies for a day.”
