They write, “We are Angelique and Kip, 2 farmers in North Florida farming on 5 acres of borrowed land. About 1 acre is in production for our market garden area where we grow for our local community. We currently sell our produce every week at The Frenchtown Farmers Market. We live in a food desert which has low access to fresh local produce, and was what inspired us to volunteer at different gardens around our city and learn about growing food. At the end of 2017, we decided to create Smarter by Nature LLC an urbane and rural farming business to address food security in our area and we have gained many supporters along our journey. Our goal is to purchase our own land and provide more products to local and online community.” .
